Dr. Aaron Kranz PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS, Cert. DN, SFMA/FMS, FRCms, DNS-A, Precision Nutrition I Coach

Dr. Aaron Kranz, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS is the founder and owner of Prescribed Performance, established in 2022 in Kansas City. Aaron earned his B.S. in Biology from Benedictine College in 2012, where he was a four-year letter winner on the football team, before completing his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in Phoenix, Arizona in 2015. In 2019, he became a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS)—an advanced distinction achieved by fewer than 10% of physical therapists nationwide.

As a former collegiate football player and powerlifter, Aaron personally understands the challenges of orthopedic injuries and surgeries. This experience drives his passion for helping athletes and active individuals recover, rebuild, and return to peak performance. His treatment approach focuses on assessing movement patterns, correcting deficits, and improving mechanics to resolve current injuries while preventing future problems.

Aaron has worked with a wide range of clients—from professional athletes to beginners—using a combination of strength training, mobility work, and sports performance enhancement to help people of all ages reach their goals. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), certified in dry needling, and trained in Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), and Precision Nutrition coaching.

Outside the clinic, Aaron enjoys spending time with his wife Delaney, their son Harrison, daughter Elora, and two dogs, Dash and Hosmer. His personal passions include strength training, hiking with his dogs, and exploring Kansas City’s restaurant scene.

Prescribed Performance

After earning his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015, Dr. Aaron Kranz gained valuable experience working in multiple outpatient and sports medicine physical therapy clinics, as well as in acute rehabilitation hospitals. However, he quickly realized that large, high-volume clinics often limit patient care—restricting treatment time in order to maximize visits. After five years of practice in Arizona and another year in the Kansas City area, Aaron decided it was time to create a better solution for his patients. That vision became Prescribed Performance, a clinic built on personalized, one-on-one care where the focus is on results, not numbers.
